UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL
The Security Council has primary responsibility, under the United Nations Charter, for the maintenance of international peace and security. All UN members agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council. While other organs of the UN make recommendations to The Security Council Member States, the Council alone has the power to take decisions which Member States are obligated to implement.

The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations structure. The Council is responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe.
Disarmament and International Security Committee
This Council deals with disarmament, global challenges and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.
It considers all disarmament and international security matters within the scope of the Charter or relating to the powers and functions of any other organ of the United Nations; the general principles of cooperation in the maintenance of international peace and security.
